Martin is the chair of the board of Mycroft Cognitive Sciences, Inc. He co-founded the company with Anil Srivastava and brought together the team and the partnership with IBM Watson.
Martin graduated from University of Wisconsin where he played one year of divisional basketball and got his law degree from Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley where he is practicing law since 1984. Prior to getting his JD he worked for Legal Aid in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Clerked for Judge Donald Chapman of the Santa Clara Superior Court. Currently he serves on the board of Boston Biomotion, Inc., Open Health Systems Laboratory beside Mycroft Cognitive Sciences, Inc.
