Badwe Lecture on Indo-US Collaborative Cancer Research

Dr. Badwe's talk covers a brief status of cancer research and treatment in India; the burden of cancer and resulting priorities; talk about some of the collaborative projects between cancer researchers in both countries including his own breast transcriptome study; the current plans for the Indian national cancer institute and co-located superspeciality centers; and his thoughts on specific areas of cooperation in cancer research and enabling bio-medical informatics infrastructure.
